Great article, it shows the award winning sustainable transport system in Ghuangzhou, China. It also includes a lot of what we were lectured last class including bicycle lanes and a bike-sharing program.

  15. A video from a recent demonstration I attended over spring break outside Columbia University's Employment Center in West Harlem.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arENqTjyv0s&feature=channel_video_title

Protest was for improved employment and job opportunities by the University (as promised), and for Floridita Restaurant, who is a victim to Columbia's expansion plan.

A little delayed, but this article was just published in the Wall Street Journal. Discusses the growing use of bicycles in cities, but in a negative way. Interesting perspective of what has been growing as "sustainable" transportation
