Being from Pittsburgh, I thought that this was a topic that was not only relevant to this class, but relevant to my life as well :)
Pittsburg State University has started hosting quarter-annual Pecha Kucha nights where all of its students are encouraged to tell their stories that can vary from international trips, research topics, how to use social media or a new art project. So far it has been an extreme success and would not be such a terrible idea to start up here at Virginia Tech ;)

ReplyDeleteIn high school I watched a Discovery Channel show on the building of Dubai. Now it is real, and the fastest growing city in the world. I think it shows urban planning at its best.
